ChatSupport Dashboard.

The dashboard gives you a complete overview of all your customer contacts categorized as Leads, Visitors, and Customers.

Access your Dashboard:

1. Sign in to ChatSupport.

The login button on the top right corner of the chatsupport website

2. Click Dashboard.

In your Dashboard, the left panel shows your categories - Leads, Visitors, and Customers, and will load the information on the right panel.

Leads

Leads are people who have shared their contact information with you.

Leads are further segmented into:

New Leads - Leads from the past 7 days.

Hot Leads - Submitted contact details in the past 24 hours, and has visited your website more than once ever since. Likely to convert to a customer.

Cold Leads - No activity in the past 30 days.

Visitors

Visitors are people who are just visiting your website, and you possess no information about them.

Visitors are further segmented as:

New Visitors - Visited your website in the last 7 days.

Returning Visitors - Showed interest and visited your website more than once in the past 24 hours, likely seeking for more information.

Drifting Away - No activity in the past 30 days.

Customers

Customers are people who have progressed from being leads to being your customers. All their contact information and conversation will remain intact in the user profile.

Customers are further segmented as:

New Customers - Used your product/service in the past 7 days.

Returning Customers - Used your product more than once in the past 24 hours.

Drifting Away - No activity in the past 30 days.

Create Custom Segments:

You can create multiple preset segments to view your most-used filters instantly.

You will have to be within each category to create a new segment.

1. Click any category.

2. Then Click Add Filters link found beneath the category type.

3. Choose a filter from the list.

4. Enter a value for the filter, and click Apply.

5. Use the +Add Filters link to add more filters.

6. Click Save.

7. Name your Segment, then click Save.

Edit Segment:

1. Select the custom segment you want to edit.

2. Click the three dots icon on the top right corner.

3. Click Edit Filters.

4. Click Save to apply the changes to this segment.

5. Click Save As to save the changes to a new segment.

6. Enter a new name for your segment. Click Save.

Delete Custom Segments:

1. Simply select the custom segment you want to delete.

2. Click the three dots icon on the top right corner.

3. Click Delete Segment.

Customize Right Panel View:

You can customize what attributes to show on the right panel other than the default primary attributes like Name, Email, and Company Name.

1. Click the three dots icon at the top right corner end of the right panel.

2. Click +Add Columns.

3. Click on the checkbox next to each attribute to show or uncheck it hide the attribute from showing up.
