The chat disconnect timer disconnects the chat after the visitor is inactive on your website for the set timing. This helps you focus and prioritize your active visitors and leads.
Visitor inactive status is marked by no keyboard or mouse activity on the website in which the widget is embedded. When the visitor resumes a disconnected chat from the same widget, it will be triggered as a new conversation in ChatSupport.
1. Go to Settings, then click Manage Widgets and choose a widget.
2. Go to Widget Behaviour and click the Disconnect Timer tab.
3. Click the drop-down next to Chat Disconnect Timer and set the timer.
